shadowbox/p: the nuns are not posted on a site, so unless my work machine is on, the nuns don't show. so i took em off--for now. (the image was of a bunch of nuns sitting at an outdoor coffee bar. the stools were painted to look like the legs of can-can dancers and stippers or ladies with their drawers showing...all in high heels and like, if there were bodies and heads attached, they'd be swathed in garish makeup.
chark/ap: do you mean the postcard? i'm just curious what you make of the dude's comments. i mean, i don't get much. and often, i read WAY too deep into stuff--enogh so that i'm upset by all the implications. people tell me i sholdn't care/worry/think so much. anyway, seems to me the dude is talking about the craziness of appearing so "opened" and "enlightened"...while he still gets exactly what he wants....
i can't quite get my mind around his tone or intention. glib? disbelieving? incredulous? arrogant? none of the above? all of the above? what does it all mean? we're full of shit? it's illusion? what?? what's your take on the postcard is really all i'm asking.
